This summer, Valentine Chapuis, a professional photographer with AFP, spent period with two young shepherds as these people tended to their flocks in the particular solitude of the People from france Pyrenees hills. Alisson Carrere-Sastre and Soline Castet are among the particular newest generation of People from france shepherds watching over herds of cows and lamb as they roam the hill pastures, grazing from Summer to September. Though they will may wear modern gear and bring cellphones, conventional aspects stay, as they will still have (and use) a shepherd’s crook, and depend on their own beloved canines to guide and protect their own flocks.
